Chong Mei Yoke (Yuki)
Chong Mei Yoke, who goes by Yuki, is the founding partner of Afif Rahman & Chong. She holds degrees in Bachelor of Laws, LLB (Hons) from the University of London and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, BA (Hons) from the University of Hertfordshire. She was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2014.
Yuki’s legal practice has a heavy emphasis on corporate and commercial transactions, particularly in the fields of corporate advisory, regulatory compliance, domestic and foreign direct investments. She is also experienced in both commercial and residential conveyancing matters as well as mergers and acquisitions matters in Malaysia.
She is currently acting as the principal counsel for a homeowners association of reputable high-end residential estate in Malaysia. As principal counsel she recently completed a transaction involving the transfer of a piece of land at the market value of more than RM15 million.
Yuki is also currently advising for a proposed joint venture transaction for the development of a 15-storey private hospital in Penang, involving investment capital of over RM215 million.

Maisarah binti Norkefli (Maisarah)
Maisarah binti Norkefli (Maisarah) obtained her Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) (LL.B. (Hons.)) from the International Islamic University Malaysia. She completed her pupillage under the supervision of Haresh Mahadevan at Messrs Haresh Mahadevan & Co., gaining hands-on experience in both criminal and civil litigation. During her chambering, she handled cases including murder, assault, sexual offences, road transport offences, and other serious criminal matters, as well as civil matters such as divorce proceedings, breach of contract, interlocutory applications, and probate cases.
Maisarah began her legal career at Messrs Hisham Nazir & Co., where she further developed her expertise in a wide range of criminal and civil matters. She subsequently joined Messrs Hanif & Co., focusing on criminal trial preparation and assisting Dato’ Hanif Hashim directly in trials. Her work included cases under the Poisons Act, Dangerous Drugs Act, and Penal Code. She continued her career with Messrs Sean Dudley & Associates, handling complex criminal trials while also managing civil disputes. Maisarah currently practices at Messrs Afif Rahman & Chong, focusing on litigation matters and further honing her advocacy skills. Driven by her passion for litigation, she is committed to leveraging her legal knowledge and practical experience to provide high-quality legal representation, while continuously developing her potential in the legal field.

Tang Lee Syuen (Trisha)
Trisha Tang Lee Syuen’s primary area of practice lies in intellectual property, where she has extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of comprehensive trademark protection. Her work spans the full spectrum of trademark matters, from registration to enforcement actions, including conducting raid and litigating trademark infringement and passing off actions. She regularly supports and advises both international brands and local proprietors on brand protection strategies and enforcement initiatives, including anti-counterfeiting measures. She has worked with numerous global brands and companies in managing their trademark portfolios, successfully securing trademark registrations and strengthening brand protection both locally and internationally. She aims to further expand her expertise in trademark licensing and franchising, while continuing to develop her practice in brand enforcement.
Apart from intellectual property matters, she is also involved in dispute resolution work, advising on matters such as debt recovery, landlord and tenant disputes, labour and employment disputes, and insurance claims. She has acted as the co-counsel before the Malaysian courts, assisting the counsel during trial proceeds and representing clients from diverse backgrounds and industries. In respect of non-contentious matters, she has been involved in drafting and reviewing various commercial agreements to support businesses and SMEs in their commercial operations.
Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia, she is adept at navigating complex legal issues and providing practical, clear guidance to clients from diverse backgrounds.

Nur Nadia Ahmad Jaidi (Nadia)
Nur Nadia Ahmad Jaidi (Nadia) graduated with a First Class Honors in Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from International Islamic University Malaysia in 2021. Upon her graduation, Nadia commenced her pupillage in Messrs Rashid Zulkifli under the tutelage of Mr. Abdul Rashid Ismail.
She was then admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in August 2022 and thereafter began her legal career as an associate in Messrs Rashid Zulkifli upon her admission.
During her pupillage and her first year as an associate, Nadia gained exposure to various practice areas mainly focusing on civil and commercial litigation such as fraud, director and shareholder’s disputes, contractual disputes, defamation, banking and debt recovery, amongst others. She has also gained experience in criminal litigation involving capital cases, offences under the Penal Code, Immigration Act 1959/63 and Food Act 1983. She was further involved in pro bono criminal defense work where she represented more than 120 clients on death row and successfully commuted the death sentence of more than 50 death row prisoners at the Federal Court pursuant to the Abolition of the Mandatory Death Penalty Act 2023.
Nadia has now embarked on her next legal career as an associate in Messrs Afif Rahman & Chong handling non-contentious litigation works with a keen interest in expanding her legal knowledge and experience to corporate law, regulatory and compliance, and corporate advisory.
